Since the pandemic, many students are still struggling with learning loss and significant academic gaps, despite recovery efforts. Christi believes in taking targeted, research-based actions to improve student success, and look forward to working with the board of education and the district on the following goals reverse learning losses and set students up for success.



• Increase Parent Engagement – Make it easy for parents to be involved by automatically sending test scores and streamlining classroom volunteer opportunities.

• Ensure Compliance & High Standards – Verify that the district meets Division 22 requirements and that curriculum aligns with state standards.

• Expand Academic Support – Partner with tutors to provide affordable after-school and summer learning opportunities.

• Utilize Peer Mentorship Programs – Launch Early Childhood CTE programs where high school students mentor elementary students to enhance learning at all levels.
